Ruth Bowiec’s ‘Famous’ Victorian High Tea for 10 people

Ruth Bowiec has reprised her Victorian High Tea for 10 people, which was a highly popular item in the Rotary Club of Kenora Auction for 25 years from its beginnings as a television auction. 

This year’s Tea for 10 will be at Ruth’s home at a mutually agreeable date in June, July or August.  Scones with butter and marmalade; fancy sandwiches (4 or 5 fillings); plus fancy dainties. Tea, of course. Even includes a bottle of Ontario bubbly.

Ruth Bowiec was the longtime Lifestyles Editor of the Daily Miner and News and remains active in the community. She was named an Honorary Paul Harris Fellow by the Rotary Club of Kenora in 1996..
